Life Binder

I am a very organized person and one day I got the idea of organizing my life and future into one place, as organized as I am I always forget where I put papers. So I thought it would be a cool idea to have everything in one big binder and include lists and things that will help me for my future. I'm only 18 and still in high school and thought that if i should get my future organized now is the time to do it. So I did tons of research and i have seen many sites and blogs about this but none completely fit my needs to I decided to add my own ideas and combine all the ideas from the sites I likes. So sense I hated reading big pages of just words that go on ill make it look like a list I think it makes it easier for everyone.

Many Call it a Home Binder but I like the idea of it being a Life Binder

All the links go to the site I got the worksheet from all the sites will be listed at the bottom as well.

Here's the supplies you will need well the ones I used
  • 5 in wide Binder (can be smaller depending on what you want to add)
  • about 12 dividers with tabs (the ones with pockets work best)(and you can add more)
  • Sheet protectors for important documents that you don't want to hole punch
  • 3 hole paper puncher (doesn't matter what kind, i think the ones that you can place in the binder come in handy)
  • Pens, Pencils, White Out, Small Calculator, some High Lighters
  • Pencil Pouch
  • I keep some Stamps and Address labels in the pouch just in case
  • Extra Lined Paper

Here's the layout of my Life Binder Feel Free to comment with your own ideas.
I also have it all stored on my computer.

To start out with I have a binder that I can place paper in the cover and spine, you can get a printout for the  cover and spine from these 2 sites
Before First Tab
  • Pencil pouch; 2 black Pens, 2 Blue, Some diff color pens, 2 Pencils, White out, 2 High Lighters, Post it notes, and a small Calculator
  • Printed Calendar
  • Lined paper, I write my ideas for my Life Binder here and Lists that I haven't placed under a tab yet.
First Tab: Personal
Most put planning as their first tab and add their daily routine and a calendar. I added a calendar before any tabs because a calendar is all i need I'm not going to add a tab just for a calendar. but you can add a planning tab if you do a lot of planning.
Second Tab: Contacts
Third Tab: Family

I don't have anything for family yet so if you have any ideas or links please comment :) thanks.

Fourth Tab: Home
So for my home tab I just have stuff like setting up a new home or new kitchen and cleaning, and stuff like that
I didn't really know what to add so again if you have any ideas let me know.

Fifth Tab: School
Of coarse if the list doesn't apply to you you don't have to add it
Seventh Tab: Finances

Eighth Tab: Career

Ninth Tab: Auto
Don't have a car yet, or any lists but here are my ideas

  • Car details
  • Car loan information (Have 2 copies one for here and the other for the Finances tab)
  • Car repair tracker
  • Emergency roadside checklist

Tenth Tab: Travel and Activities
Eleventh Tab: Seasonal
Twelfth Tab: Misc.
For whatever else you want to add that you don't want to add a tab or doesn't fall in any of the categories

Please if you have any ideas or Links to other printouts or sites please comment
